Life's
demands can often feel overwhelming, like a tidal wave that leaves us fighting
to stay afloat. I, too, find myself in the midst of this chaotic sea, where
twenty-four hours in a day often feel like just a drop in the ocean. Finding balance
amidst the chaos is not easy, and I'm sure many of you can relate to this
feeling.
As an author, blogger, mother, and wife, I feel like there isn't enough time to accomplish everything I need to do. Sometimes, I have to let things go—important tasks as well as fun activities.
Then, the guilt sets in like a heavy fog. I feel guilty that in order to take care of responsibilities or work on my next book, I pass up opportunities to spend quality time with my family or enjoy moments with my friends.
I often wonder if I’m the only one who feels this way. If you’re reading this, you might be nodding your head in agreement, recognizing a shared experience. It's comforting to know that we're not alone in this struggle.
