ILIOUPOLI, Greece - Angel Sefer's intriguing new novel, "Spellbound in His Arms," was published June 21, 2013 and already has made its way onto three best seller lists.
This week (August 8, 2013), the book peaked at the #14 spot on Amazon's Romantic Mystery Best Sellers list, as well as reaching the tops 20s on two Romantic Suspense lists. The story takes place on the island of Corfu, and combines thrills, mystery, and romance.
When American investigative reporter, Jackie Alexander, travels to a deserted mansion on Corfu to find clues to who kidnapped her cousin, Aphrodite, she finds more than she expected. While searching for information that would explain why the heirs to the vast fortune of Greek tycoon Andreas Demiris are dying, Jackie meets Detective Michael Apostolou, a former Special Forces officer with a hidden agenda.

The two strangers must work together to save the heirs and take down a killer, but Jackie wonders if she can trust the mysterious man who sparks a passion in her she didn't know existed. Kidnappings, car chases, betrayals, and revelations threaten to separate the two permanently. Can Jackie rescue Aphrodite while trying to keep herself alive? And will she ever discover who Michael Apostolou really is?

Angel Sefer was born in Athens, Greece. She has studied and worked on both sides of the Atlantic. She holds a degree in economics, and divides her time between the corporate world and her true passion: reading and writing romance, mystery, and adventure novels.
She lives in Athens with the two loves of her life – her son and her husband – and her wonderful and supportive family.

This is the first book in "The Greek Isles" series. "Spellbound in His Arms" is available for purchase on Amazon.com. Residents of Greece can also enter to win a free autographed copy on Goodreads.com.
