Spellbound In His Arms intrigued me from the beginning, and it held me captivated as I turned each page. I enjoyed the way the author kept the plotline moving along nicely, and the twists at the end threw me for a loop! Jackie and Michael seemed to fall in love from the start when they met, which I will not delve into because that would ruin the plot. While I'm not normally the type of reader to fall in love with the characters from the beginning, I found that I was rooting for them the entire way through the novel.There were times that I was very frustrated with Jackie for acting irrationally, but it did not ruin the story for me. In fact, I enjoyed the way that she had a few flaws, at least, things that might be considered flaws to me.
As a synopsis, I would say that this book is an excellent mystery and romance novel that has a little bit of thriller sprinkled throughout. It kept me on my toes as I was reading. In fact, it only took me two sittings to actually read this, and only because I had to do laundry!
