Secrets, Passion, and Mystery on Santorini

 

I’m sure you’ve heard or seen pictures of awe-inspiring Santorini—the Greek island with spectacular rock formations, impressive lunar landscapes, and breathtaking red and black sand beaches.

But have you read The Heiress of Santorini —my third novel in the Greek Isles Series, inspired by the story of a mysterious woman I met years ago on the island?

Of course, names, characters, and places have been changed, and fiction was blended with reality. But the storyline was inspired by that stunning woman who shared her memories with me over delicious meals and drinks, overlooking the Caldera.

I’m not sure how much of the story related to me was true and how much was due to her obviously vivid imagination—I believe that the beautiful woman with designer clothes and priceless jewelry could be a writer herself. But one thing was certain: that enchanting lady certainly had the “air” and the financial means to testify that she was indeed a descendant of a Greek billionaire’s family.
