"A Cat-and Mouse Page Turner Meets Greek Tragedy" 5-star review for mystery thriller romance The Heiress of Santorini

5.0 out of 5 stars A Cat-and Mouse Page Turner Meets Greek TragedyMay 21, 2016
This review is from: The Heiress of Santorini (The Greek Isles Series Book 3) (Kindle Edition)
This is the third book I’ve read in the Greek Isle series, and as with all of Angel Sefer’s works, “The Heiress of Santorini” is an attention grabber from the very first paragraph.

We can never choose our families, something the female lead, Alexandra, learns the hard way. She has been on the run for years, desperately hiding out from a certain family member she’s been warned about her entire life, and just when she thinks she’s no longer vulnerable, she becomes embroiled in a life-threatening trip to a place where she not only has to come to terms with that same person, she unwittingly steps right smack into imminent danger from the people around him.

And for all those romance enthusiasts, along the way she meets a gorgeous man who, despite her knowing nothing about his past, pulls her gravitationally into a romance. As the pages turn, the book becomes a real cat-and-mouse story, where danger is forever lurking, the cast of characters surrounding this Greek mansion play out their parts much like a Greek tragedy, and her new self-mantra becomes “whom can I trust?” Couldn’t put it down!
